1. Is Samahang Magdalo registered in Security and Exchange Commission (SEC)? Is Samahang Magdalo a legal Organization?

Yes. Samahang Magdalo (Samahan) Organization is under the umbrella of MAGDALO para sa Pagbabago Movement, Inc which is registered in Security and Exchange Commission (SEC) with Registration Number CN200803760. Thus, the Samahan is a legal entity.

2.Can a government employee join the Samahang Magdalo?

Yes. Since Samahang Magdalo is a legal organization, anybody can join including government employees. In fact, the Samahan encourages its members to be law-abiding and productive citizens of the Country. The organization further exhort members to abide by its Code of Conduct which includes not to bribe and be bribed, participate in elections and not sell vote and paying taxes among others.

3. Does the Samahang Magdalo select certain economic group for its members?

No. All Filipinos from all walks of life are invited to join the Samahang Magdalo Organization. The Samahan believes that every citizen has the right to be part of an organization where he/she can express his/her desire for a better government and a better Country.

4. Can a member of other organizations still join the Samahang Magdalo?

Yes. Members from other Organizations are welocome to join the Samahang Magdalo provided that he or she is willing to adhere to the principles and advocacies of the MAGDALO, support its activities and observe its Code of Conduct.

5. What benefit/s can I get from joining the Samahang Magdalo?

The Organization will have its own programs and projects later that are intended to help its members in general. Helping a fellow Magdalo is actually one of the Code of Conduct of the Organization. However, at present we encourage those who are interested to join to ask themselves how they can help the Organization in their own little way in terms of propagating the message of hope for the Country, brotherhood/sisterhood, good governance, transparency and accountability among government officials and participation in activities that spell the future of the Country.
